Over at DreadXP on Halloween, there was a cavalcade of indie horror games on display during its Spooky Showcase event presented by Torple Dook, doing his delightfully bizarre spin on Blues Clues Chips Tips.Ī total of 87 horror game trailers from the recent past and the near future were featured in the sizable showcase, shining a spotlight on the weird and wonderful creations of the indie community. There are no new assets with the mod, as all of it was content that was buried during production. One modder, Grimrukh, has been able to go one step further, and bring back some of the cut content that was buried within the game!ĭark Souls: Daughters of Ash is described as “a massive re-imagining and expansion” of the original Dark Souls game, on which Grimrukh has spent over two years working away to bring it to fruition.

It was up to the modding community to come in and clean things up (notably the framerate and controls). In spite of being hard as hell, the PC port of Dark Souls wasn’t really the best conversion.
